Job summary

Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc. provides precise finishing and secondary operations on small metal parts and springs. You will perform bending, trimming, hand-winding, and pre-set cycles, measuring and counting produced parts while adhering to customer specs and safety rules.

You should be dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with basic gauges in a manufacturing setting. Training and advancement opportunities are available in a full-time, 1st and 2nd shift environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complete secondary/finishing tasks such as bending, trimming, hand-wind, punch press operations and pre-setting
• Use hand tools, fixtures, presses and related equipment safely
• Verify quality by inspecting bends, hooks, welds, dimensions and appearance
• Measure with basic inspection tools to ensure customer requirements are met
• Follow job travelers, work instructions and customer specifications
• Maintain accurate counts and finish required production reporting
• Identify defects and alert supervisor or Quality team when needed
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE guidelines

Do you enjoy precision work and seeing tangible results at the end of your shift? At Katy Spring & Mfg., Inc., you’ll handle small metal parts and springs, bringing them to final form through careful finishing and secondary operations.

Imagine This

You’re assigned a new order. The job traveler outlines the steps—bend here, trim there, a quick hand-wind, a short punch press cycle, then pre-set. You check bends, hooks, welds, and dimensions with basic gauges, count the completed parts, and record production. Anything questionable? You loop in your supervisor or the Quality team. Safety glasses on, PPE in place—you’re in the zone.

Your Impact
