Job summary

Roaring Fork School District is seeking licensed Secondary Math Teachers for grades 9-12, including AP, in the District Hiring Pool. The position is a 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week, starting August 2026 during a 185-day contract.

Teachers will cover Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, and AP classes, developing dynamic, student-centered lessons within a collegial environment. A Bachelor's degree and Colorado license with math endorsement are required, with transcripts and visa options as noted.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active Colorado teacher license, authorization, or the ability to obtain.
  • Endorsement in Mathematics (6-12), or the ability to obtain.
  • Official transcripts must be provided upon hire; international transcripts require evaluation by NACES.
  • Visa candidates: An initial (3-year) license is the minimum requirement.

Reports to: School Principal
Classification: Certified Exempt - Full-Time (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week)
Contract Period: 185 working days.

Salary Range

  • *$54,000 to $83,500 (Based on education and years of relevant teaching experience) *The annual salary listed above is based on a full-time, 8-hour workday (FTE 1) and a full working calendar. For positions with less than a full FTE or reduced hours, such as part-time or late-start positions, the salary will be prorated accordingly. Certified Salary Schedule

Education and Licensing Guidelines
