Job summary

Accurate Bushing Company in New Jersey is seeking a Secondary Machine Operator to set up and operate production machinery such as lathes, grinders, and mills in a warehouse setting. You will inspect equipment, adjust as needed, measure parts with precision tools, and maintain a safe, clean area.

The role requires high school or GED, up to two years of manufacturing experience, and the ability to read blueprints and follow instructions.

The Secondary Machine Operator ensures machinery is set up, works properly and conforms with and can produce materials that conform with company and customer quality standards.

Duties/Responsibilities

The main job functions and responsibilities of the Secondary Machine Operator includes but not limited to the following:

• Operates production machinery in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, mills and similar equipment.
• Inspects equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in a light industrial/manufacturing environment. (noise, smells)
• Prolonged periods of working on feet, using tools and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending and lifting.
• Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds at times
• Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced.
• Must have manual dexterity necessary to operate the machinery.
