A Medical Manufacturer in Grand Rapids is looking for Secondary Machine Operators!

Description:

1. Operate a variety of motorized hand tools & machines.
2. Monitor and control the quality of machining processes by utilizing process control tools.
3. Maintain the production processes and work within the expected quality standards and efficiencies that are established for the product line.
4. Part cleaning, bench buffing, deburring, lapping, polishing, painting, blasting, and some operation of manufacturing machines or equipment.

WAGE: $16 - $18/hr to start, but more with experience. Wage offered is determined after interview with hiring manager.

Shifts:
10-12 hours per day, 4-5 days per week (roughly 50 hours/week).
NIGHT SHIFT: M-F starting at 8pm.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

1. Proven mechanical aptitude, documented through experience and/or testing.
2. Reading and math skills for interpretation of technical documents and/or blueprints used in the manufacturing process.
3. Proven manual dexterity and lift capacity.
4. Official Machine Apprentice training is preferred.
5. Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
6. Must be able to read blueprints/schematics.
7. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly, and 50 occasionally.
8. CNC machine operation experience.

Conducting drug screening and/or background check report inquiries may be necessary for employment purposes.
