The Howard County Public School System seeks a dedicated educator to provide case management for students eligible for alternative education services within an MTSS framework. You will collaborate with SST/IIT/FBA/504 teams, deliver targeted academic support, and help implement school-wide SEL initiatives.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an applicable field of education.
• Licensure: Maryland MSDE Special Education Grades 6-12 or Secondary Education licensure; out-of-state applicants encouraged to start licensure.
• Preferred: three years of related teaching experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide case management for students eligible for alternative education services, including interventions and SSP development.
• Support SST/IIT/FBA/504 teams and collaborate with school staff to address student needs.
• Deliver supplemental academic support and in-class push-in to reinforce concepts.
• Support school-wide social-emotional learning and facilitate targeted interventions.
• Plan and deliver professional development on SEL, belonging, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Monitor progress and ensure fidelity of SSPs, BIPs, and 504 plans.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation as part of student supports.
