Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Supervisor of Secondary Education to oversee daily school operations at East Mountain School in New Jersey. You will supervise staff, coordinate programs, monitor IEPs, and ensure safety and compliance with NJDOE regulations.

The role requires a Master’s Degree and at least three years of leadership experience; NJDOE background check; competitive starting rate around $90,098.40 annually for a 10-month position, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience as a Principal, Supervisor, or Teacher.
• NJDOE Criminal History Review required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee management of school operations, including scheduling, staff supervision, and attendance tracking.
• Contribute to budget formation and procurement for instructional supplies and programs.
• Coordinate facilities planning, program maintenance, and emergency drills in line with NJDOE requirements.
• Provide guidance to staff and collaborate with EMYL residential program and other departments.
• Communicate with parents, districts, and external entities to support program development.
