Job summary

General Fasteners Company in Chillicothe, OH is hiring a full-time Warehouse Support Associate to receive, pick, pack, and ship products while maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse. The role demands attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or with a team on a fixed second shift (Mon–Fri, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused attitude with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels and build positive working relationships.
• Ability to organize resources, establish priorities, and manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-directed with a high level of personal organization and drive.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing job requirements.
• Working knowledge of all warehouse processes, with the ability to perform them as needed.
• Ability to be trained to operate powered industrial lift trucks and pallet jacks.
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
• Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, and the general public.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable MVR.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable warehouse, distribution, delivery, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to meet company requirements for operating a company vehicle.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment following required training and certification.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, pick, pack, and ship products.
• Maintain inventory accuracy.
• Keep the warehouse safe and organized.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Adhere to schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM.
• Prepare reports as needed.
