Job summary

Five Below is seeking a hands-on leader for a Ship Center team. You will clearly communicate daily goals and assignments, and coach associates to improve performance with safety in mind.

The role is hourly with starting pay around $21.00 per hour, with $22/hour referenced as the typical rate. Requires at least 1 year of leadership experience and familiarity with RF devices and Manhattan WMS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of leadership responsibility for a group of direct reports.
• Good communication skills and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to coach associates according to policy with a safety focus.
• Basic arithmetic and computer skills.
• Experience with RF devices and warehouse systems.

We are looking for a hands-on leader, with an assigned group of team members in a specific area of responsibility within our Ship Center. Clearly communicate daily goals and individual work assignment to the team. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to our customers, our people, and the company.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 1 year of leadership responsibility for a group of direct reports/team.
• Possess good communication skills.
• Exhibit basic problem-solving skills, to determine root cause, and propose possible solution.
• Ability to provide coaching and direction to associates in accordance with established policies and procedures with a focus on maximizing performance in a safe manner.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Experience using RF devices
• Good computer skills.
• Experience with Manhattan Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred but not required.
• Experience with Crown equipment preferred but not required.
