Job summary

Positronic Industries, Inc. in Springfield, MA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support inventory accuracy and material flow. You will receive, package, and store components using FIFO practices and perform routine inventory transactions.

This on-site role offers a Monday–Friday shift 12:00pm–8:30pm with a $1.50/hour shift differential. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, pass ABC certification testing, and collaborate with EHS and Quality teams to uphold safety and AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1 to 3 months of experience or training.
• Passage of appropriate testing to advance in ABC certification program.

Responsibilities

• Receive and package components to prevent damage.
• Store inventory using FIFO practices and maintain proper storage locations.
• Perform inventory transactions using the computer system.
• Move material between departments and perform cycle counts.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Assist with temporary staffing as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Uphold Positronic's standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
• Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
• Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
• Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a climate-controlled warehouse environment with frequent exposure to forklifts, shelving, and moving equipment. May be exposed to dust, noise, and fumes on occasion.

Shift

First shift (Monday - Friday 12:00pm - 8:30pm).

This position will be compensated an addition $1.50/hr shift differential.

Knowledge

• Basic understanding of warehouse inventory processes and FIFO practices.
• Knowledge of English language for reading labels and communicating effectively.
• Familiarity with scanning equipment and basic computer systems.
• Awareness of raw materials, storage techniques, and packaging standards.
