Job summary

Petco Cranbury, NJ is seeking a Warehouse Worker I for the second shift to pick, pack and move merchandise within our distribution center. The role requires operating equipment and utilizing an RF scanner to accurately record items for shipment.

The position is safety sensitive and involves lifting up to 50 pounds, with routine duties that include labeling, stocking, and maintaining an orderly, compliant workspace. Training is provided, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Equipment operator experience preferred but not required.
• This is a safety sensitive position that requires drug testing.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that merchandise is properly, efficiently and expeditiously picked and processed as required by the Petco Stores and Distribution Centers.
• Safely pull merchandise from warehouse stock bins and shelves using a hand-held radio frequency computer system to record selected merchandise in accordance with store supply-order computer printouts, or via computer operated carousels.
• Package merchandise for shipment, either in boxes or on pallets; ensure correct and complete labels are attached to all orders processed.
• Replenish area inventory stock as required.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area; assist in safety and security of the warehouse.
