Job summary

Petco is seeking an Equipment Operator for our distribution operations in Cranbury, NJ. This role involves pulling and moving merchandise, loading shipments, and maintaining inventory with powered material handling equipment.

The position offers paid training, full-time hours Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30pm with overtime as needed, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and a 401K with matching.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math proficiency required.
• Ability to repetitively lift/move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to pass required certification to operate powered material handling equipment.
• Forklift certification or ability to be certified.

Responsibilities

• Pulls merchandise from storage locations and packs for shipment.
• Receives, picks, packages, and loads merchandise using pallet jacks or forklifts.
• Replenishes inventory stock and performs stock checks.
• Counts inventory and reconciles with records.
• Unloads incoming shipments and loads outgoing trucks.
• Arranges merchandise for staging and stocking to maintain inventory levels.
• Packages merchandise with correct labels for orders.

Skills
