Job summary

Monti Inc. is seeking a production associate responsible for running multiple primary machines, ensuring quality and output in a fast-paced environment.

You will perform material handling using electric carts or forklifts, operate stamping presses, and maintain 6S standards and housekeeping.

A high school diploma is required; teamwork, reliability, and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate at least two primary machines while ensuring product quality and output.
• Handle materials safely; move coils/wire stock with electric cart or forklift.
• Safely operate stamping press and other machinery.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping.
• Uphold 6S standards in all work stations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Simultaneously runs a minimum of two primary machines; responsible for quality and quantity of products being manufactured; demonstrates ability to proficiently operate multiple primary machines.
• Performs all material handling duties required to keep a job productive; safely retrieves materials and returns the unused coil/wire stock to the storage areas using an electric hand-cart or fork truck.
• Operates stamping press and other machinery in a safe manner.
• Maintains excellent housekeeping practices.
• Maintains 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards in all work stations.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Skills:

• Knowledge of blueprint reading.
• Basic computer skills.
• Basic math skills (ex. addition, subtraction, multiplication, fraction/decimal equivalents).
• Mechanical inclination.
• Organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements:

• Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment.
• Routine, repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs., occasional, heavy lifting, and pushing / pulling 10 lbs. regularly, 1 to 10 hours per day.
• Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work.
• Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
• Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area.
