Job summary

HW staffing in Salisbury, NC is seeking a hands-on warehouse associate to help assemble wooden pallets and cardboard angles. This role supports manufacturing and assembly in a fast-paced environment.

You will measure, cut, and join components, operate tools and machinery, and ensure pallets meet quality standards. This temporary-to-hire position offers health insurance and two shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret simple technical drawings.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with power tools and woodworking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble wooden components to build pallets.
• Operate power tools and machinery (saws, nail guns, forklifts) to assemble pallets.
• Inspect finished pallets for quality and safety.
• Assist teammates to keep a clean, safe work area.

Responsibilities

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden components to construct sturdy and durable pallets
• Operating power tools and machinery, such as saws, nail guns, and forklifts, to efficiently build pallets
• Inspecting completed pallets to ensure they meet quality standards
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a safe and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a light industrial or manufacturing setting, preferably with pallet building or similar woodworking skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
