Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing departments toward peak efficiency. You will train staff, give feedback, and coordinate activities across cutting, tempering, laminating, and glass fabrication lines.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a glass environment with Lean/5S knowledge. Strong communication and safety commitment are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of Supervisory experience or training.
• Experience in a glass environment, 5S and Lean manufacturing knowledge (Preferred).
• Committed to safe work practices.
• Must multi-task, be organized, efficient and accountable.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Conveys Management’s expectations and direction.
• Responsible for training, directing, and motivating employees and making recommendations to Management.
• Supervises and coordinates plant floor activities across cutting, tempering, laminating, fabricating, polishing, insulated glass, or loading glass products.
• Assist in training of new and existing employees on work methods and safety guidelines.
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs machine setup and adjustments.
• Provide timely feedback on performance reviews, shortages, and equipment problems when required.
• Participates in interviewing, hiring, and terminations of employees as needed.
• Maintains safe, efficient workflow and inter-team relations.
• Ensures on-time delivery and manages raw material flow and inventory control.
• Maintains compliance with Employment Laws and OSHA policies.
• Creates a safe plant floor environment and pursues cost-reduction opportunities.
