Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in precision assembly or manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, torque drivers, and measurement instruments.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble high-precision spindle components using drawings and schematics.
  • Operate diamond turning machines and surface grinders to match spindle components.
  • Perform mechanical and electrical sub-assembly including bearing installation and rotor balancing.
  • Conduct functional testing and calibration of spindles to meet specs.
  • Use micrometers and gauges to verify tolerances and alignment.
  • Document assembly steps, test results, and quality checks.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Follow cleanroom protocols and maintain a safe, organized work area.
