Job summary

Gardner Pie Company, a Northeast Ohio food manufacturing leader, seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the Pie Line and drive performance for the production team. The role demands strong leadership, hands-on management, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership experience in a continuous manufacturing setting.
• Strong communication across departments.
• Experience with LEAN manufacturing and process improvement.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and food safety preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely produce quality products with efficient use of labor and materials.
• Provide transformational leadership and actively lead your team.
• Achieve operational excellence to meet or exceed plan via continuous improvement.
• Supervise the team and manage day-to-day interactions.
• Support strong safety culture by enforcing policies and participating in Safety Walks.
• Lead daily meetings covering Safety, Food Safety, Quality, and performance.
• Develop training and cross-training plans for the team.
• Coordinate with other departments (Safety, Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Logistics, HR).
