Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Phlebotomist/EKG Technician for the Second Shift at Bellevue Medical Center in Omaha. You will assist patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, performing blood draws and EKGs in a fast-paced environment while building connections with our patients.

Priority will be given to applicants with healthcare experience, especially in phlebotomy or EKG. The position is PRN/casual with 8.5 hour shifts and varied start times between 9:00am and 11:00am.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school education or equivalent
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork, and flexibility
• Computer experience required
• Attention to detail
• Ability to multitask
• BLS certification within six months of hire from an American Heart Association endorsed program (effective for new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later)

Responsabilités

• Perform adult and pediatric EKG testing and blood draws
• Process and distribute patient specimens for testing
• Follow department policies and ensure accurate specimen handling
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a productive work environment
