Job summary

Nebraska Medicine's Bellevue Medical Center is seeking a Phlebotomist/EKG Technician for the second shift (PRN/Casual). You will perform blood draws and EKGs for inpatients and outpatients, delivering accurate results and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have phlebotomy and EKG skills, strong communication, and teamwork. A high school diploma and BLS are required; additional phlebotomy/EKG certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification within six months of hire or transfer.
• Phlebotomy knowledge or certification preferred.
• Experience with EKG testing and patient specimen handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric EKG testing and blood draws.
• Collect, process, and distribute patient specimens for testing.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate records.
• Utilize point-of-care instruments and follow safety policies.
