Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school education or equivalent.
• Prior phlebotomy and/or EKG experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and attention to detail required.
• BLS certification within six months of hire from an AHA-endorsed program.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult and pediatric EKG testing.
• Collect blood specimens and process specimens for testing.
• Distribute patient specimens to testing areas.
• Operate point-of-care instrumentation.
• Provide courteous patient-focused service and maintain departmental policies.
