Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manual painting experience beneficial.
• Ability to consistently meet or exceed productivity and quality levels.
• Certification in paint application or related field preferred.
• Experience with automated painting systems or robotics is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Submit a daily End of Shift Report detailing production runs to the Production Supervisor.
• Notify the Production Supervisor of any downtime lasting more than 15 minutes.
• Document all factors preventing the production team from meeting KPIs or daily goals in the End of Shift Report.
• Attend the daily schedule meeting with the Production Supervisor to review the day’s events and tomorrow’s goals.
• Update weekly action plans focusing on rate improvements, material usage, and first-time yields versus quoted improvements.
• Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed and submitted to appropriate personnel.
• Label all paint with APPROVED stickers and ensure proper documentation for any cut paint.
• Perform required maintenance and document actions taken to maximize uptime.
• Maintain uptime on all scheduled production lines.
• Maintain a visible presence on the floor in the Paint Area, guiding and supervising team members.
• Show measurable improvements in daily P2 efficiency, material usage, first-time yields, etc.
• Prepare for the next day’s production by ensuring paint, equipment, and materials are ready for use.
• Spend minimal time in Inspection and Load areas unless assisting the Supervisor.
• Apply problem-solving techniques, identifying issues, and achieving measurable results.
