Job summary

E.A. Sween Company is seeking packagers for our brand-new Greenwood County facility on 2nd shift. The role involves packing sandwiches into bun trays and boxes while maintaining line speeds and adhering to GMP and safety standards.

Responsibilities include rotating positions every 30 minutes, validating labels, and supporting Lean initiatives. Candidates should have assembly line experience, basic math, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs; weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous assembly line experience in a high-speed packaging environment.
• Must be able to write, count and communicate in English.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must be available for work flexible schedule to include occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

• Pack sandwiches in bun trays and corrugated boxes at designated line speeds.
• Active role in the Company's Lean initiative.
• Rotate all positions on a 30-minute basis.
• Follow all standard work and safety practices.
• Verify face and ingredient labels are correct and place product in the correct format.
• Complete paperwork and report to Pack-off Lead.
