Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Chemical Process Technician II to join the Oxygen Generator production team. You will operate both automatic and manual equipment to process chemical batches, follow procedures, and ensure product quality while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. Shift: 2nd, Mon-Fri 2:30pm-11:00pm.

Training on 1st shift is provided, then transition to 2nd shift. Requires ability to work with PPE in a chemical manufacturing environment and a strong safety

Qualifications

• HS diploma (or GED) or vocational education with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions and protocols.
• Knowledge of chemical processing principles, equipment and procedures.
• Experience working in a collaborative manufacturing team.

Responsibilities

• Measuring and mixing dry chemical solutions to create life‑saving oxygen systems.
• Operate production equipment per standard procedures and safety rules.
• Inspect parts and perform quality control to meet company standards.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards at the work site.
• Manage inventory for production materials and order supplies as needed.
