Job summary

United Imaging, headquartered in Houston, TX, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join a team that builds and tests medical imaging components. The role requires 2 years of mechanical or electrical assembly experience with the use of mechanical tools and a keen eye for detail.

This second-shift position runs 4:00 PM–1:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed to meet production schedules. The company offers benefits and opportunities for growth within a global medical imaging

Qualifications

• High school diploma or above.
• 2 years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembling.
• Experience with mechanical tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions for unpacking, assembling, disassembling, picking, and packing medical imaging parts.
• Ensure safety, environment, health rules and quality requirements during production.
• Rework on the product when needed per supervisor or engineers.
• Maintain equipment, tools and instruments and participate in 5S in the factory.
• Keep up with production schedule and meet deadlines and targets.
• Show good documentation practice in production records.
• Assist warehouse in checking and packing finished products.
