Job summary

United Imaging - North America in Houston is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for second shift to build assemblies and sub-assemblies for medical imaging devices. You will follow production procedures, use mechanical and electrical assembly basics, and maintain tools and calibrated instruments to ensure quality.

The role requires attention to detail and adherence to 5S and safety rules. The position offers a second shift (4:00 PM–1:00 AM) with overtime as needed, and includes comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in mechanic or electric assembling.
• Experience in working with mechanical tools.
• Basic knowledge of electric safety.

Responsibilities

• Follow the established work instructions for unpacking crates, assembling, disassembling, picking, and packing medical imaging parts and products.
• Make sure to comply with safety, environment, health rules and quality requirements during the production process.
• Rework on the product when needed with instructions from supervisor or engineers.
• Maintain the equipment, tools and other instruments used periodically and participate in implementing 5S in the factory.
• Keep up with production schedule, meeting the deadlines and targets.
• Show good documentation practice in production records.
• Assist warehouse in checking and packing finished products.

Job Summary

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for manufacturing assemblies and sub-assemblies according to established production procedures and production quality policies. The Mechanical Assembler must be familiar with both mechanical and electrical assembling basics to make the products. In this position he/she must be able to work with tools and equipment as well as calibrated instruments provided. With all the knowledge of tools and the product, he/she needs to show focus on the details, be organized when he/she is working and show craftsmanship in the production.

Work Schedule

This is a second-shift position. The regular working hours are 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Candidates must be available to work this schedule. Candidates must be available to work overtime on scheduled workdays and weekends as needed to meet production requirements and business needs.
