PurposeLoads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant or off-site storage facility by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Issues raw materials to work centers based on production schedule.Coordinates and packages deliveries to and from warehouse based on production schedule.Coordinates the handling and storage of materials that will be stored at EHOB and off-site warehouse.Responsible for weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly inventory of raw materials.Weigh counts all welded goods and stages for shipment to Goodwill or EDC.Provides conticos at work areas for finished goods.Delivers all raw material to production.Loads and unloads all deliveries to EHOB.Other duties as assignedEducation and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or previous steady employment and experience.QualificationsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.Ability to add, subtract, divide and multiply.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Must be certified to drive a fork lift.
