Job summary

ASI Group Southeast, part of ASI Group, is seeking a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician for the second shift to maintain and repair production equipment in a 2:30 PM–1:00 AM schedule. Training on first shift for ~6 months before transitioning to the regular second shift.

The role covers electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and PLC-controlled systems with PLC controls, robotics, and maintenance procedures. OSHA safety practices and 5S are required in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1 year hands-on experience with industrial equipment (lubrication, cleaning, motor controls, relay controls, process controls, or packaging).
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic equipment, and PLCs.
• Ability to read and understand operation manuals, safety data sheets, and technical procedures.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production machinery and building systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and PLC-controlled equipment.
• Respond promptly to malfunctions to minimize downtime.
• Install, inspect, and maintain machinery and equipment; calibrate as needed.
• Read technical docs and service manuals; follow work orders.
• Coordinate with Engineering and outside vendors on installations and upgrades.
• Maintain inventory levels and keep 5S-compliant work areas.
