Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and experience, consistent with department process/product requirements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; good documentation practices.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical equipment; troubleshooting ability.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all lines have appropriate labor to meet expectations and manages MAR operator assignments.
• Maintains contact with customer departments to ensure awareness of any product or process problems.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives (six sigma, lean manufacturing, VSMs, 6S) to reduce waste and improve quality and safety.
• Controls production shift schedule and coordinates with support departments to take action when targets are not met.
• Assigns workers to workstations to meet production requirements and ensures GMP/GDP compliance.
• Monitors production and adjusts work assignments, material supply, and machine operation as needed.
