Job summary

Allied Plastics in Twin Lakes, WI is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the second shift. This role focuses on electrical maintenance, preventative care, troubleshooting, and supporting production in a fast-paced thermoforming facility.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of electrical maintenance experience, 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance, and a valid driver’s license. On-call duties and overtime may apply, with a pay range of $29–$40 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year electrical maintenance experience.
• 2+ years maintenance within manufacturing.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Understand 480V 3 phase operation and able to run diagnostic testing.
• Understand and troubleshoot control circuits including 110V AC, 24V DC, relay and ladder logic.
• Clean, lubricate, inspect and test machinery & equipment.
• Diagnose and repair machines and equipment visually and audibly.
• Check vacuum pumps and air compressors.
• Check ventilation system in plant for negative air flow.
• Install new parts into defective machines.
• Repair electrical connection issues on machines.
• Perform preventative maintenance work daily.
• Inspect band saws, fire extinguishers, fire pumps, roof top exhaust units, bench grinders and other related machines/devices.
