FLANDERS is seeking a Machinist for the second shift in Longview, TX to safely operate lathes and mills and produce parts to exact specifications. You will set up tools, read blueprints, and inspect finished components to ensure quality.

The role requires basic mechanical knowledge and 1-5+ years of machining experience, with the ability to read prints and perform basic math. Safety training and procedures are essential, with opportunities for growth within the shop.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical knowledge required.
• 1-5+ years of machining experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend basic instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Operate large and small mills and lathes.
• Read basic G-code and M-code and ensure machine operation.
• Set up machines with raw materials and secure materials for work.
• Inspect finished parts for conformance to specs.
• Record materials used and sizing data during production.
• Use measuring devices to ensure proper dimensions.
• Interpret blueprints to ensure parts meet job scope.
• Maintain safety procedures during operations.
• Perform other duties as requested.
