Job summary

Overhead Door Corporation is seeking a Machine Operator for the second shift in a heavy manufacturing environment. You will operate designated machinery and equipment to produce sectional and rolling doors and components according to drawings and run schedules.

Responsibilities include ensuring product quality by following SOPs, inspecting work, and adjusting equipment to meet specifications. You will also use hand/power tools and assist with fabrication and assembly as needed.

Qualifications

• Industrial manufacturing experience desired.
• Able to read and understand work instructions in English.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy machinery and designated equipment (roll forming, press, milling, welding, cutting, routing, molding, extrusion).
• Produce sectional and rolling doors and components per specifications, BOMs, work orders, and run schedules.
• Ensure quality by following SOPs and maintaining proper settings and measurements.
• Inspect pieces to verify specifications and quality; adjust machines as needed.
• Utilize hand/power tools and material handling devices to assist manufacturing.
• Fabricate and assemble door sections and components as required by the job.
