Job summary

Hybrid Apparel in San Bernardino, CA is seeking a Lead, Transfer to support daily production in the Transfer Department. The role focuses on operating Sakurai screen-printing presses to produce high-quality transfers and providing hands-on leadership to the warehouse team.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, on-site with a second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of lead warehouse experience and knowledge of screen-print operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience required.
• 1-2 years lead warehouse or related elevated or progressive work experience required.
• Adaptability to a fast paced work environment.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, to interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures.
• Knowledge of a Screen Print operation is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduling and reporting by planning and organizing work schedules to ensure jobs are assigned correctly and efficiently.
• Identify excellent performers and those requiring improvement to the attention of management.
• Coordinate unloading/loading of inbound/outbound shipments and maintain inventory controls.
• Ensure warehouse workload is handled safely, efficiently, and accurately for customer orders.
• Ensure the quality of executed orders and perform physical audits.
• Provide first‑level issue resolution support for product damage, quality and safety issues.
• Lead employees’ workload/assignments on a team basis and cover shifts when needed.
• Perform operator duties on Sakurai or Screen Print Carousel as needed.
• Provide hands‑on training for associates and onboard temps.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and security through programs, inspections and measures.
• Complete activity and statistical reports as assigned.
• Assist in physical inventories or cycle counts and report results.
• Deliver continuous improvement through waste elimination and 5S Lean practices.
