Job summary

Rhoads Industries Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our second-shift workforce. You will provide comprehensive HR services, handling employee relations, performance management, and HR data integrity to align with production goals.

You will collaborate with operations and management, ensure compliance with HR laws, and drive employee engagement in a fast-paced industrial setting. A degree in HR or related field is preferred, and union experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field preferred.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• US citizenship required.
• 3–5 years of HR or labor relations experience required.
• Experience supporting operations in a warehouse/manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Prior experience with a unionized workforce.
• Willingness to work second shift and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between touch-labor employees and operations management.
• Respond to employee inquiries on benefits, compensation, attendance, and general concerns.
• Assist with disciplinary processes per work rules and union agreements.
• Counsel employees on workplace issues and conduct investigations.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and HR programs.
• Maintain HRIS and payroll-related data; generate reports for management.
• Assist with performance appraisals and development plans.
• Maintain employee personnel files and ensure data accuracy.
