Job summary

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated in Silver Spring, MD is seeking a Forklift Operator II to move materials throughout the facility using a forklift and pallet jack. The role includes loading/unloading trailers, updating SAP/CONA systems, and maintaining a clean work area.

This is a second shift position (2pm-10pm, Mon-Fri with potential weekend work). Safety-conscious candidates who can handle temperature variations and busy environments are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack certifications required where applicable.
• Switcher operation certification required.
• Class A CDL where required.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and document activities.
• Strong safety, accuracy and housekeeping practices.

Responsibilities

• Move vending and cold drink equipment to fulfill requests.
• Secure outbound loads with wrapping and attach required documentation.
• Load and unload trailers; update SAP/CONA for inbound/outbound loads.
• Perform safety and housekeeping tasks including pre/post-trip checks.
• Staging equipment and yard maintenance; assist with various movements.
• Operate a switcher to maneuver 53' and pup trailers.
