Job summary

Quad Packaging in Franklin, WI is seeking a Second Shift Material Handler (Forklift Drivers) to join our team. The role involves shipping/receiving, palletizing, and operating forklifts to move materials and finished products.

You will work 1 pm–9 pm, Monday–Friday, with pay ranging about $17.50–$19.50 per hour based on skills and market conditions. We offer opportunities to grow with a modern packaging facility and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1+ years of material handler/shipping/receiving/baler experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Basic arithmetic skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Read, speak, and understand English to interpret instructions and production documents.
• Familiar with machines and tools; repair and maintenance experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Ability to perform and coordinate multiple tasks during a shift.
• Must lift 50+ lbs and work indoors or outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and condition.
• Prepare items for shipment and document quantities.
• Determine shipment method and calculate space or charges.
• Load/unload shipments and manage palletizing operations.
• Create and proof labels; affix to pallets as needed.
• Protect products and support certifications.
• Cross-train and maintain baler room operations.
