Job summary

Baron USA in Cookeville, TN is seeking a fitter welder for the second shift (3:30 PM–12:00 AM). This full-time role involves fabrication of parts for a fluid purification system, using MIG and TIG processes.

Salary is $25.00–$28.00 per hour with benefits including health insurance, retirement plan and PTO. Candidates with vocational school training and 1–2 years experience are preferred, but weld tests may waive experience.

Qualifications

• Vocational school training completed; 1–2 years experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MIG and TIG processes preferred; weld test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire components described on the welding drawing.
• Determine the welding procedure required by the drawing.
• Use drawings to locate hole locations, brackets and mounting parts.
• Weld assembly according to dimensions and procedure requirements.
• Visually inspect welds for imperfections.
• Perform post-weld performance tests.
