Job summary

Thermal Engineering International in the United States is seeking a skilled Fitter with fabrication and fitting experience in a manufacturing setting. The candidate will interpret drawings, perform precision fit-ups, and execute layout and burn operations to high-quality standards.

The role requires working on 2nd shift (3:00pm–1:30am) with voluntary overtime and a base pay range of $33.50 to $39.25 per hour, plus a $2 shift differential. DOE.

Qualifications

• Able to read tapes and blueprints for welding joints and symbols.
• Experience with fit-up, layout, and burn operations to high quality.
• Familiar with interpass temperatures and heat input in welding.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision fit-ups and layout per drawings.
• Execute welds using Flux Core, GTAW, and GMAW as required.
• Adhere to weld procedures and quality standards.
