Job summary

Nox Metals in Detroit, MI is seeking a Factory Technician for the Weekday Second Shift to cut, inspect, and ship aluminum parts for aerospace and defense customers.

You'll operate saws, log every step, and learn a modern metals operation from receiving to shipping, with training and certification provided.

This full-time, in-person role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork on a dynamic shop floor.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory, metals center, or skilled trades.
• Commitment to safety and quality on every cut.
• Willingness to work second shift on Weekdays.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial saws, bandsaws, CNC equipment, and material handling systems.
• Load, measure, cut, and inspect aluminum plate, bar, and rounds to spec.
• Run forklifts and overhead cranes after training and certification.
• Record cut data and job completions in software accurately.
• Follow production schedules and deliver shipments on time.
