Job summary

Amy's Kitchen in White City, OR is seeking a kitchen Associate to prep and cook food ingredients to meet quality standards. You will follow standard procedures and coordinate with the Kettle Deck Team Lead and Shift Lead to ensure consistent batch production.

Responsibilities include cooking and batching per recipes, checking ingredients for texture, taste, and appearance, and maintaining strict food safety practices. Overtime may be required during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to three-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read simple words and to perform basic arithmetic using US units

Responsibilities

• Always follow good work habits, adherence to procedures, company rules and safety practices.
• Perform cooking and batching of all recipes according to standard procedures and batch sheet instructions.
• Check ingredients and in-process foods for correct texture, taste, smell and appearance; report variances.
