Job summary

Alinabal in Milford, CT is seeking a second-shift CNC milling operator to run rod-formed components. You’ll set up machines, verify first articles, and document production while interpreting prints and GD&T on the shop floor.

The role requires 2+ years of CNC milling experience, ability to read drawings, and hands-on metrology with micrometers and calipers. You’ll monitor tool wear, adjust feeds and speeds, coordinate with Engineering and Quality, and support safe, efficient changeovers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC milling experience; rod-forming or precision machining background preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and apply GD&T in real time on the shop floor.
• Hands-on skill with micrometers, calipers, and other hand metrology tools.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end milling operations: setup, first-article verification, production, and documentation.
• Interpret prints and GD&T to ensure features meet form, fit, and function.
• Monitor machines, correct drift, and fine-tune feeds/speeds for consistent results.
• Measure with precision tools and record inspections.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance to keep spindles turning.
• Coach peers on safe work practices and effective changeovers.
