Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries seeks a 2nd shift supervisor to oversee aseptic product preparation, formulation and dispensing under cGMP in a clean room. You will lead technicians, write investigations and CAPAs, and ensure quality per SOPs and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires a life sciences degree and 6–8 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, with strong documentation and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with SAP and QA systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians on second shift in preparation, dispensing and filling parenteral products.
• Schedule weekly floor activity plans for second shift.
• Author and track investigations, CAPAs, deviations and change controls.
• Troubleshoot and solve moderate to complex equipment/process issues.
• Oversee inventory control and ensure timely supply orders.
• Utilize systems like SAP, TrackWise, EDMS.
• Evaluate team performance with midyear and yearly reviews.
• Review batch records to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Review SOPs and Batch Records; update via DCRs.
• Work under limited supervision following clearly described procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Education in Life sciences or technical discipline.
