Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Magna, Utah, is seeking a Second Operator to support the Bacchus 1800 Gallon Mix/Cast area, manufacturing rocket motors and performing hands-on tasks.

You will operate cranes, handle energetic ingredients, follow standard work, work overtime and shifts, and participate in safety and quality training; U.S. citizenship and government clearance are noted.

Qualifications

• Experience with rocket motor manufacturing processes.
• Able to safely operate overhead cranes and hand tools.
• Ability to read, interpret and follow standard work instructions.
• Comfort with basic math and measurement tasks.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, holidays and overtime.

• Assist training of new and lower classification operators.
• Communicate effectively with leadership, coworkers and support teams.
• Participate in process improvements and standard work instruction updates.
