Job summary

Direct Charter Service, Inc. is looking for a Second-in-Command (SIC) in San Diego, CA. This role involves supporting key naval training operations as part of a flexible schedule, assisting in the operation and navigation of King Air and Metroliner aircraft. Candidates must have a minimum of 750 total pilot hours and an FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential, along with Secret clearance eligibility. Competitive compensation and substantial personal downtime are offered.

Location: San Diego, CA

Contract: Navy CAS Propeller Contract

Mission Overview: Support key naval training operations that enhance the tactical capabilities of U.S. Navy forces. As SIC in King Air and Metroliner aircraft, you will assist in complex missions designed to prepare naval forces for real-world challenges, benefiting from a flexible schedule and excellent downtime.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the PIC in the operation and navigation of King Air and Metroliner aircraft.
  • Help coordinate mission logistics and comply with all regulatory and safety standards.
  • Participate in crew resource management and maintain communication during operations.
  • Support navigation and mission execution tasks effectively.
