Qualifications

• Must be Certified, Qualified and Highly Qualified as defined by the Course Code(s) assigned.
• Ability to work cooperatively with parents, school districts and agencies in providing services to students.

Responsibilities

• Plans and implements a program of instruction aligned with district goals.
• Develops effective lesson plans and uses varied teaching strategies.
• Maintains a conducive classroom environment to support learning.
• Provides progress and interim reports as required.
• Coordinates with paraprofessionals, tutors and volunteers as needed.
• Evaluates student learning and adjusts instructional approaches.
