Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Guides learning toward curriculum goals; integrates skills into units and centers.
• Prepares for instruction; coordinates daily activities for paraprofessionals; uses varied instructional strategies.
• Implements innovative instructional strategies and collects data on effectiveness.
• Serves as a model classroom; allows observations and shares resources with staff.
• Creates a conducive classroom environment; establishes fair rules and behavior standards.
• Maintains inventory and ensures a clean, organized classroom.
• Monitors activities to ensure safety; protects students and materials.
• Engages with parents to support student development outside instructional time.
