Legacy Traditional Schools is seeking a General Education Teacher to motivate students toward academic excellence using an accelerated, back-to-basics curriculum including Spalding and enVision Math. Responsibilities include delivering engaging instruction, selecting resources for diverse learners, and tracking student progress across campuses.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and SEI endorsement, willingness to travel between campuses, and participation in ongoing professional development,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain.
• The incumbent in this position will be required to pass a criminal history background check.

Responsibilities

• Implement instructional activities that engage students in meaningful learning experiences.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources to meet diverse learning needs.
• Utilize direct instruction to support social, physical and intellectual growth of primary students.
• Assist in assessing curricular needs and propose improvements.
• Maintain accurate record keeping and communicate with parents and professionals.
• Collaborate with peers to enhance the instructional environment.
• Model professional and ethical standards in interactions with students and staff.
• Ensure student growth is appropriate for age group and program.
• Attend trainings and staff meetings and meet deadlines.
