Job summary

Miamiarch is seeking a qualified Second Grade Teacher for St. Mark Catholic School in Southwest Ranches, Florida for the 2026-27 school year. St. Mark Catholic School in Southwest Ranches, Florida has an opening for a qualified Second Grade Teacher, for the 2026-27 school year. This candidate can help students learn, apply higher order thinking skills, and is qualified to teach elementary school. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for an elementary school teacher and performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary is commensurate with certification and years of experience.

Qualifications:

• BS / BA Degree in Elementary Education.
• Florida department of Education Elementary K-5 teaching certificate, temporary or professional required.
• Must obtain catechetical certification from the Archdiocese of Miami Office of Catechesis, within three years of hire.
• Proficiency with STREAM projects.
• Excellent presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency with Apple technologies and applications.
• Proficiency in Canvas, Plus Portals, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written English-language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Must be supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including adherence to dress code.
