Qualifications

• Associate degree in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years golf course maintenance experience preferred.
• Florida pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain within 90 days)

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily planning, scheduling, and execution of golf course maintenance operations.
• Help supervise, train, and motivate maintenance staff to ensure work is completed safely and to standards.
• Assist with mowing, irrigation, fertilization, chemical applications, and general turf/landscape maintenance.
• Monitor turfgrass health and identify issues with pests, diseases, irrigation, nutrition, and environmental conditions.
• Assist with agronomic programs and seasonal maintenance practices.
• Participate in fertilizer and pesticide applications, including calibration, mixing, application, and recordkeeping.
• Operate and maintain turf maintenance equipment and assist with troubleshooting.
• Help manage irrigation systems, including monitoring, repairs, and adjustments.
• Maintain accurate records of chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation practices, labor, and other activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations.
• Communicate with Superintendent, Assistant Supervisors, management, and other departments.
• Assist with special projects, tournaments, course setup, and other duties as needed.
• Promote a safe work environment and adherence to club policies.
