Job summary

Thrive Therapies Group seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor to support K-12 students across multiple Seattle-area schools. The role combines direct student services with clinical supervision, overseeing SLPs and SLPAs while guiding service delivery and IEP compliance.

The position is full-time and onsite, with regular travel between Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton sites. A CCC-SLP, a master’s degree, and a WA license are required, with strong leadership and collaboration

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program.
  • Current CCC-SLP certification from ASHA.
  • Active Washington SLP license or documented initiation of licensure transfer before start date.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, eligibility requirements, and school-based SLP services.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision, coaching, or leadership to SLPs/SLPAs.

Responsibilities

  • Carry an assigned student caseload and provide individual, small-group, and consultative speech-language services.
  • Supervise and support SLPs and SLPAs, including onsite observations, feedback, coaching, and caseload consultation.
  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and re-evaluations and contribute to eligibility determinations.
  • Develop measurable, student-centered IEP goals and monitor progress using data.
  • Participate in IEP, eligibility, and team meetings across assigned school locations.
  • Review service delivery and documentation for quality, timeliness, and alignment with IEP requirements.
  • Support articulation, language, fluency, voice, AAC, and social communication needs.
  • Partner with educators, families, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams to resolve concerns.
  • Help clinicians identify resources, address barriers, and maintain high-quality school-based services.

About the Role

Thrive Therapies Group is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist Supervisor to join our growing Washington team and support K-12 students across multiple school communities.

This is a full-time, school-based leadership position that combines direct student service with clinical supervision. You will carry a student caseload while providing oversight, coaching, and support to SLPs and SLPAs and helping ensure high-quality, compliant services across assigned student caseloads.

What the Role Looks Like

Clinical Leadership and Supervision

Provide practical, responsive supervision and clinical guidance to school-based SLPs and SLPAs. Support sound clinical decision-making, consistent service delivery, documentation quality, and professional growth.

Direct Student Impact

Carry an assigned student caseload and provide evidence-based evaluation, treatment, consultation, and IEP services for students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, social communication, and AAC needs.

Multi-Site, School-Based Work

This is a multi-site, school-based position. The SLP Supervisor must be able and willing to travel regularly between school locations in Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton, Washington, to attend IEP meetings, conduct student and clinician observations, provide onsite supervision, and support school teams. Candidates should expect to work onsite at multiple facilities based on program and student needs.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a CAA-accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Active Washington SLP license in good standing, or documented initiation of licensure transfer before the start date.
  • Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, eligibility requirements, and school-based SLP services.
  • Experience providing clinical supervision, coaching, or leadership to SLPs, SLPAs, or related-service clinicians.
  • Strong organization, communication, follow-through, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly to multiple school sites throughout Seattle, Tacoma, and Bremerton for required onsite meetings, observations, supervision, and service delivery.

School-based and AAC experience are preferred. Bilingual Spanish SLPs are strongly encouraged to apply.
