Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or five years insurance experience, including two years as an underwriting assistant.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite and capable of working in a paperless environment.
• Experience in excess and surplus lines underwriting agency or company.

Responsibilities

• Reviews insurance applications to evaluate and classify risk.
• Underwrites or brokers risks ensuring proper information is secured.
• Markets and develops relationships with retail agency customers.
