Seattle Information Technology (IT) is seeking candidates for a GIS Analyst / Developer (ITP-B, BU) whose main focus is to provide direct support for all aspects of GIS at the Seattle Police Department (SPD). The SPD GIS Analyst / Developer works in close partnership with a second GIS analyst (also dedicated to SPD), to develop GIS products, meet SPD’s business needs and support GIS users throughout the department.
While this position’s primary focus is GIS for the Seattle Police Department, the position resides in Seattle Information Technology’s Data Enablement Division and is part of a large GIS team comprised of administrators, analysts, developers and others. This GIS team in Seattle IT maintains the City’s centralized GIS platform and is responsible for developing and supporting the many solutions and data sets tailored to the unique needs of individual City departments.

Experience:Salary: The salary range for this role is $52.63 - $79.00 per hour.

Workplace Environment (Telework Expectation): This position offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule. At this time, hybrid schedules require at least three days onsite per week. Individual schedules are determined by operational needs.
